I just finished my second try with my mirrored manta ray appliqué design. I hand dyed the lace print fabric seen inside the mantas and on the binding and the main fabric with a blend of blue and green. I had fun creating the various textures with blue green and varigated threads. I thought the black and dark blue would show up more. I am going to try a contrast color next time.
