One of my favorite fabric lines ever is Paula Nadelstern’s Madam Butterfly from the Opulence Collection. Many of my quilts have used and been inspired by this fabric in the years since it’s release This large quilt, 94” x 94”, uses the last large piece I had.

After making the top of this quilt I put together a smaller one using the scraps and leftovers and named it Remnants of Opulence. I quilted this smaller one first to test my thread choices and make sure the batting I was planning on using didn’t have any issues.
